French acetylene torch of SNCF Station Chief
Very rare and beautiful torch, complete, made by the company A.ButinParis, during the years 1910/1940. This torch is also a tricolore lantern of signalisation (white-red-green) used in the station for communications between the Chiefs of Trains and the Chief of Station.
Size : 6‘’ x 6’’ x 13’’ inches.
The torch in brass has been unfortunately painted in black and needs to refind his original brass color. The red glass is cracky.
Found in an attic sale in France at Longueau in the Department of the Somme.
Easy restauration for a superb piece of collection or decoration.
