Rare authentic French manual bread cutter from the second half of the 19th century. Originally designed for village bakers who solded bread by weight at this period. This one was vermoulu and was treated efficiency against insects and mushrooms by bath. This beautiful object of simple and minimalist design is full of history and still perfectly functional. It can be put back in service and will bring a «French Antique Touch » in a modern or contemporary decor. Dimensions in inches: H 6 x L 22,5 x W 5. Max height extended 26 inches. Dimensions in cm : 15 x 57 x 12,5 and 67 cm deployed at his maximum. Found in an antiques shop at St Valery sur Somme.
